Mozambique Growth Charts and Tables for Children and Adolescents

Image of growth chartWorking with Mozambique’s Ministry of Health, FANTA created four anthropometric reference booklets for healthcare providers working with children and adolescents. The booklets cover the four indices for different age groups: weight-for-height/length, height/length-for-age, weight-for-age, and BMI-for-age. Two booklets provide growth tables for girls and boys and two provide growth charts for girls and boys. The booklets are based on the 2006 WHO Child Growth Standards for children 0 to 5 years of age, and the 2007 WHO Growth References for children and adolescents 5 to 18 years old. The booklets also include examples to help users correctly use the charts or tables relevant to their needs.
