e-Learning Course: Introduction to Nutrition

This e-learning course covers basic concepts of good nutrition, common nutritional deficiencies, the magnitude of malnutrition in different populations, groups most vulnerable to malnutrition, the causes of undernutrition, and key indicators. It also outlines the major population-based interventions to improve nutritional status. The course, authored by FANTA and produced by the Johns Hopkins University Center for Communication Programs, is available through the USAID Global Health e-Learning Center website. All courses are free, but registration is required.
