Two new training courses on SAM cover all aspects of inpatient care for children in Malawi. The course for clinicians and nurses stresses clinical practice in hospitals. The  course for home-craft workers equips them to better assist clinicians and nurses. Both training courses provide guidance on Malawi’s National Guidelines for the Community-Based Management of Acute Malnutrition via training modules, facilitator guides, and reference materials.
