FANTA, in collaboration with Cote d’Ivoire’s National Nutrition Program, developed nutrition assessment, counseling and support (NACS) job aids for health facilities providers. The job aids consist of 43 user-friendly visual aids with step-by-step instructions to assess and categorize clients’ nutritional status and provide appropriate nutrition counseling and treatment. Based on the National Protocol on Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition and National Nutrition Guidelines, the job aids accompany NACS Training Materials which will be available shortly.
