Tina Lloren comes to FANTA with 18 years of experience in nutrition and food security programming. Tina, what do you do at FANTA?

I support the Mozambique team on the technical- and management-related aspects of the portfolio, and support FANTA’s global nutrition initiatives in the Nutrition and Infectious Disease Cluster and the Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition Cluster.

What has been your proudest moment on the FANTA project?

My proudest moment was when Mozambique expanded to field operations. We had been providing national-level technical assistance since 2008, and in 2015 we expanded to provide provincial-, district-, and health facility-level technical assistance in two provinces. It was extremely satisfying to see our technical assistance at the health facility level, where we have been able to apply the national-level materials and plans that we developed; develop additional tools and strategies at the health facility-level; and see data that shows improvements in nutrition services.
