Jaden Bendabenda supports the MoH-nutrition unit with improving the quality of clinical management for children with severe acute malnutrition. Jaden has more than eight years’ work experience in clinical care, hospital management and community-based research in nutrition and reproductive health. Most recently Jaden worked as a study physician on the International Lipid Based Nutrient Supplements (iLiNS) project in Mangochi. He also worked as a research coordinator on the FHI360/College of Medicine Sayana Press study. Jaden has a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Malawi and has received postgraduate training in international nutrition, nutrition economics, advanced epidemiology, and public policy. He is also pursuing a Ph.D. in International Health & Nutrition at the University of Tampere in Finland looking at the association of nutrition and infections and their effects on child growth.
