Alice Nkoroi, Project Manager/Malawi

Alice Nkoroi has more than 14 years of experience designing, implementing, managing, and providing technical assistance to maternal and child health nutrition; HIV/AIDS care and support; quality improvement; CMAM; and emergency nutrition programs in Malawi, Ghana, East Timor, South Sudan, Eritrea, and Sierra Leonne. In particular, she has extensive experience providing technical assistance to governments to design and integrate nutrition interventions in existing delivery systems. She has supported the development of multisectoral nutrition policies and strategic plans, guidelines, treatment protocols, training materials, and job aids for nutrition in several countries. Alice has also supported governments and academic institutions in Ghana and Malawi to strengthen nutrition in pre-service training of frontline health care providers. Prior to joining FHI 360, Alice worked for Concern Worldwide and GOAL Ireland as a nutrition advisor and manager in East Timor, Malawi, South Sudan, Eritrea, and Sierra Leone. She holds a master’s degree in medical science human nutrition from the University of Glasgow.
