Catherine Gana, Project Manager, Nigeria

Catherine Gana has over 30 years of experience in medicine, nutrition, child health, and caring for people living with HIV. Prior to joining FANTA, she provided support to the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Health to help develop a nutrition training manual for people living with HIV. She has also conducted several trainings on community management for acute malnutrition for community-based organizations in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. She holds a bachelor degree in medicine and surgery from Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria, post-graduate diploma in child health from University College in Dublin, Ireland, and a master of science in health promotion and health education from Leeds Beckett University in Leeds, UK.
