FANTA staff participated in the ASN Scientific Sessions & Annual Meeting at Experimental Biology. This multidisciplinary, scientific meeting is an annual event comprising over 14,000 scientists and exhibitors representing six sponsoring societies and multiple guest societies. It features plenary and award lectures, pre-meeting workshops, oral and posters sessions, onsite career services, and exhibits of an array of equipment, supplies, and publications required for research labs and experimental study.

FANTA’s Megan L. Deitchler and Zeina Maalouf-Manasseh chaired a symposium “Program Effectiveness for Addressing Undernutrition During the First 1000 Days” on Tuesday, April 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. In association with the American Society for Nutrition, the event featured studies that FANTA partners have been implementing for many years.
