Generic Guidelines and Job Aids for Community-Based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM)

publication cover

FANTA worked with partners to create a package of community-based management of acute malnutrition (CMAM) guidelines and job aids that can be adapted at the country level using national guidelines, local considerations, and World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations. The draft materials have been provided for adaption. Please note, however, that these materials were published in 2010. Some recommendations on the management of severe acute malnutrition in children 6–59 months have been updated by WHO and are not reflected in the files available for download here. FANTA recommends consulting the latest WHO guidelines and adapting these materials to take into account the most recent WHO guidelines as well as national guidelines and local considerations.
