This technical brief helps define the role that nutrition assessment, counseling, and support (NACS) plays in health systems and the relationship between NACS and other nutrition approaches and programs. This brief is intended for PEPFAR agencies, implementing partners, governments, and international agencies such as the World Food Programme to facilitate the integration of NACS into health systems and management of issues that arise during implementation.
