Pauline K. Okello has over 10 years of experience in health system strengthening and public health management in Uganda. Her key areas of expertise include community-based health financing, maternal and child health, reproductive health, family planning, malaria, HIV, and nutrition. Before joining FANTA, she worked on the USAID-funded STRIDES Project as the regional coordinator/senior operations manager. She also worked with the Community Health Financing Association of Eastern Africa as a program manager and with the USAID-funded HealthPartners/Uganda Health Cooperatives as project manager. She has an MPH in Health Systems Management and Policy from the Institute of Tropical Medicine, Belgium; MSc in Population and Reproductive Health from Makerere University, Uganda; a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management; and a BA in Social Sciences.
