Patricia Dominguez, Technical Advisor, Food Security and Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition

Patricia Dominguez ​has spent more than 10 years working on food security, emergency response, and public health projects for the Pan American Health Organization, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, World Food Programme, and other nongovernmental organizations. Her experience includes collaborating with and providing technical assistance to the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture, and Secretariat for Food Security and Nutrition in Guatemala, as well as evaluating and analyzing information related to health, food and nutrition, agricultural production, climate monitoring, and livelihoods in vulnerable populations in Guatemala, Central America, and Chile. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from San Carlos University in Guatemala and a Master’s degree with specialization in health promotion and prevention of chronic disease from the Institute of Nutrition and Food Technology at the University of Chile.
