Kristen Cashin, Technical Advisor, MCHN Capacity Building

Kristen Cashin provides and manages technical assistance to host country governments, USAID Missions, and USAID implementing partners for USAID-funded activities focused on maternal, adolescent, and child health and nutrition, food security, community-based programming, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E). Her experience includes co-developing an anemia prevention program for adolescent girls in East and Southern Africa; drafting technical reference materials on nutrition and the Preventing Malnutrition in Children under 2 Approach; collaboratively developing the Nutrition Program Design Assistant; developing food security country frameworks for Title II programs; and providing training and technical support on M&E. She holds an MS in food policy and applied nutrition from Tufts University.
