Gad Tukamushaba, Program Coordinator - District Nutrition Coordination Committees

Gad Tukamushaba has more than 15 years of experience collaborating with local government partners to identify, design, and implement programs for vulnerable populations, including orphans and vulnerable children, women, and youth. Most recently, he was Regional Director on the USAID Strengthening Decentralization for Sustainability Program. Previously, he served as Senior Business Advisor for the Value Girls Program in Kenya; Regional Income Generation Advisor on the USAID Community Based Orphan Care Protection and Empowerment Project; and Portfolio and Branch Manager for the Uganda Women’s Effort to Save Orphans. He holds a BA in Social Sciences from Makerere University in Uganda; a post-graduate diploma in Development Studies from Mbarara University of Science and Technology; and a diploma in Microfinance from the Uganda Institute of Bankers.
