Amanda Yourchuck, Program Officer, Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition

Amanda Yourchuck supports the project’s work on integrating Community-Based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) into existing health systems using a health systems strengthening approach. She first joined FANTA as a member of the operations team, where she provided operational backstopping for CMAM activities in Ghana, South Sudan, and Sudan. Her experience also includes conducting coverage surveys using the Semi-Quantitative Evaluation of Access and Coverage/Simplified Lot Quality Assurance Sampling Evaluation of Access and Coverage methodology. Prior to joining FANTA, she studied global development at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University, where she earned master’s degrees in public administration and international relations.
