Alice Nkoroi has more than 10 years of experience designing, implementing, managing, and providing technical support to nutrition programs in Africa and Asia. In particular she has extensive experience providing technical support to government health systems to design and integrate management of acute malnutrition into existing health and nutrition service delivery. She has also co-developed guidelines, treatment protocols, training materials, job aids, and strategies on the management of acute malnutrition in Ghana, East Timor and Malawi. Prior to joining FHI 360, she worked for GOAL Ireland and Concern Worldwide as a nutrition advisor and manager in Sierra Leone, Eritrea, South Sudan, Malawi, and East Timor. She holds a master’s degree in medical science human nutrition from the University of Glasgow.
