Dr. Aimee Nibagwire is supporting FANTA’s nutrition and infectious diseases portfolio in Cote d’Ivoire and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She brings more than 10 years of experience in clinical practice and public health program delivery. Prior to joining FANTA, she worked at the American Society for Microbiology as the senior program specialist for capacity-building programs in 10 countries. She also worked in Rwanda as a physician and was the Director of Programs at the School of Public Health where she developed and led the implementation of multisectoral public health programs. She has an MD from the National University of Rwanda and an MPH from Benedictine University.
